We have reached the final stages of getting the rezoning and rights for the land in Glen Marais, in fact right next to the new Pick & Pay and now ready for business. It will only be a short walk from our village to the Glen Ballad shopping centre.

Our aim is to build 200 Units, each with its own tandem lockup garage and remote controlled door plus and most important a 35-40 bed acute centre (Frail Care).
The frail care centre will be run by a professionals and highly qualified personel on a full time basis but under the supervision of the body corporate of the retirement village.
Our aim is to launch the development end April 2013 and to start building as soon as our plans have been approved by the local town council.
A two lane bowls course with artificial lawn (carpet) is also part of the plan, the reason for the choice of the carpet is to minimize the upkeep of the facility. A clubhouse/hall will also be handed to the body corporate at the completion of the project and that is in access of 200m2.We intend to start building from two sides on the site and as soon as units are available to view then the project will be opened to the public. A security system of note will make for safe living for the elderly as well as a fully equipped kitchen for daily meals as well as diesel powered power backup 24/7
Having seen the need of senior citizens we will have a number of rooms available for rent with a small kitchenet and a on suite bathroom/shower.
